Now I did a job. I got nothing but trouble since I did it, not to mention more than a few unkind words as regard to my character so let me make this abundantly clear. I do the job. And then I get paid.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

msbelle, that is awesome! I am so glad for you.

I am ridic happy that I have toenails right now. I have had one pedi in my life, because my toenails are crazy stubby anyway, and I have had a bad peeling habit when I am nervous. I haven't had normal looking toes for probably 15 years. Hated my toes.

Right now, all of my toes are absolutely, positively normal. I have to clip and file them! Which is insane. I love it. As soon as I get a job, I am getting a pedicure. With flowers or gems or something. NICE LOOKING TOES!!! SO EXCITING.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Is JAR going to play a lawyer for forever? Which isn't a bad thing. It's just a thing thing.

Cass, mine are just standard french manicure. Back in the day I used to do color, but don't want to bother anymore. Buy pre-painted, glue 'em on, done.

OK, first strip of 6 spindles done. Second strip tomorrow. Then only 13 to go. Sob.

I suppose it's better for him to be typecast as a suave lawyer than the leader of a gang of needy multi-ethnic street kids. But yeah, some variety might be nice.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I've just read and skimmed some... I'm so tired I can't really function right.

But yay Suzi on the raise! and yay Bon! and yay potential msbelle insurance.

It's been a really crazy day at work with some uber depressing kid news. But to balance that out, Grace is working on saying hey! And we're weaning her off one more med. That child cracks me up.

JAR's on The Defenders with Jerry McConnell.

Go Grace!

JAR has fallen off my radar. At first I was like, jars is? How is that possible?

As Grace gets more mobile, more communicative and more developed, she also gets naughtier, more demanding, and more stubborn (if that's even possible). She's exhausting me. The twins are winning.

Because books.

Hanna Andersson is like kids' clothes porn. It's very distressing. And expensive.

True of every child ever, really.
