Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I need to see if I can buy the red I have on, because they did it at the place last weekend, and I'm pretty sure it's my new One True Red. OPI Malaga Wine.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I've actually started remembering to bring my own with me to mani/pedis. It's so nice to be able to do tiny touch ups

Yeah, I do that sometimes, but wanted a color I didn't have.

I've been thinking of doing that, just cause of an impulse buy that I like a lot. NSM touchups, because when my pedicure does go, it is pretty much catastrophic.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Nice money saving, msbelle! I just got my open enrollment forms for 2011 (which I thought I had already missed (also, dude, Motorola is totally nice for extending my health coverage like this)) and I think I'm switching to Kaiser, which will mean higher premiums but no deductible, if I'm reading this stuff right, which should save me money over the course of the year. Paying the premium and knowing I'm inlikely reach my deductible this year makes me not want to go see a doctor at all. I have enough of that tendency without financial incentives.

I have tomorrow's chicken air drying in the fridge, tomorrow's bread rising on the counter, and tonight's shake already drunk. I am on top of my food situation for the present.

My nails are naked and raggedy. I should probably file them, at least, they are getting to that length where they start breaking.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

When I get chips on the tip, I'll turn my basic color into color with a french tip in another color. Stretches it out a bit.

Tried a new polish Tuesday and had it off on Wednesday. Didn't like the way it applied. Didn't like the final color. All around disappointment.

Need to paint them blue with either green glitter or green tips before Saturday.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

You guys will make a girl out of me yet.

Hey, I generally have polished nails and wear eye makeup almost every day now. I am just paying it forward. The pedis and always wearing lipstick were totally pre-Buffista. Hell, they were pre-legally able to drink.

I'm kinda jealous of how long your nails last, sarameg, but I think I'd get bored with the color and take it off anyway. I can stick with a color for about a week.

I will admit I did a mani the day I was flying to San Diego and it was planned so I could have my nails gorgeous for an event two days later. It kerploded the next day and I had bare nails. Then again I also packed the wrong bra and had to change my dress plans too. Planning fail all around.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

msbelle, that is awesome! I am so glad for you.

I am ridic happy that I have toenails right now. I have had one pedi in my life, because my toenails are crazy stubby anyway, and I have had a bad peeling habit when I am nervous. I haven't had normal looking toes for probably 15 years. Hated my toes.

Right now, all of my toes are absolutely, positively normal. I have to clip and file them! Which is insane. I love it. As soon as I get a job, I am getting a pedicure. With flowers or gems or something. NICE LOOKING TOES!!! SO EXCITING.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Is JAR going to play a lawyer for forever? Which isn't a bad thing. It's just a thing thing.
