I am up, but very tired after staying up until 4:30am playing BSG with ND and Omnis. Pix wisely went to bed at a semi-reasonable hour.
Sarameg, it sounds like you had a great time! I can't wait to see pictures!
I am drinking coffee -- damn, I love the machine, I swear the only reason I get out of bed some days is the thought of the great cup of coffee I am making.
I had good sleep. Took me about 3 hours of trying, getting up, taking a Benadryl and going back to bed, but I did it. WIN.
I will go to Target today. I am caving and getting a Swiffer vaccuum thingie, among other things.
I think I will also sweep off the back porch -- really, there is a giant tree in the middle of our deck, who thought that was a good idea; it us HUGE. Like, 3 stories high, I swear -- the deck is built around it, and the deck is constantly covered with branches. But it is so nice, and I want to clean the tables and chairs off, too, so I can go out there and grade papers or read or something.
Huh. I wonder how much a lawn recliner would be? Maybe Wal-Mart would be a better place to go to get one of those.
Go, Zenkitty! Play fun music, and weed mercilessly! Playact -- "I throw you out! PTUI! I speet on you, you are zee clutter, and you will die! MWAHAHAHAHA!"
(Am I the only person that does that?!)
I assuming not, but does anyone know for certain if -t keeps kosher or if one does during shiva? And what kind if vegetarian is she?
(Am I the only person that does that?!)
Not anymore.

I thought about that. I don't know.
And what kind if vegetarian is she?
I'm not sure she is. That's just the chili I make since I was also feeding JZ.
Ah.
Hmm...
I'll go with eggless pumkin applesauce muffins, just in case.
Heh, Calli!
Aims, from what little I know, I think it is The Done Thing to send kosher food for sitting shiva; I mean, unless a family is very Orthodox, I think it is okay to send food you have cooked in your unkosher kitchen. And no flowers.
If I were to send food to a family who was pretty kosher, I think I would send something like this: [link]
(Am I the only person that does that?!)
No, not anymore, you're not! MWAHAHAHA! (Calli beat me to it!)
I'm pretty sure that -t doesn't keep kosher, so home-cooked stuff is probably fine. I think she might not eat eggs, but I can't totally remember. If you're sending something from a restaurant or store anyway, though, then it's probably better to go with a kosher one -- even if the immediate family doesn't keep kosher, there will probably be at least some guests who do, and sending a platter of kosher cookies or sandwiches or something lets the family not have to worry about finding kosher food for those kosher guests.
