Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

America is like a slice of banana-walnut bread...full of nuts and bananas, and some people have it for an afternoon snack. t /apologies to Douglas Adams

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Every time I've been in a room where someone gave the salad metaphor, someone has to pipe up about the fruits and the nuts...

Now tagless for your comfort.

Yay for school news, Zmayhem! I hope the transition is smooth for Matilda and that the situation takes some of the pressure off of you guys.

Owen has somehow convinced me that I should start making customized Lego minifigures after watching some tutorials on Youtube. His first request: Kick-Ass.

While I was basking in the geekitude of my eldest child, I went to Michaels and bought some acrylic paints and some wee paint brushes to start on this project this weekend.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Speaking of food, I'ma try the fish place. Mmm. Fish. America is a fish.

We're a sushi platter!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Spinach salad was good. That was a good call. After the new diet regime has kicked in, pasta makes me sick. It`s sad.

Since we're talking about food, I have to confess that no matter how many times you guys mention the nail polish exchange, I keep reading it as a Polish exchange and think that I'll need to dig out my mom's chrusciki recipe.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

My hair is long enough finally to put in wee pigtails!

I want to grow it out a little; I really hate not being able to pull my hair back if I want to. Half of my cupcakes are cooling; then I am going to read a little bit, then make myself cute and go to dinner.

Oh, thank you--I thought it was just me! I was going to suggest some kolackis.
