ION, you will pry my convection oven from my cold dead hands. I've never had one before, but cookies that were supposed to take 7 to 9 minutes in the oven only took 4, and I baked two sheets at a time. And they're perfect!
I'm envious of the convection oven. If I buy this place and update the stove/oven, I'd seriously think about one.
God I just can't wait until this Giants game tonight. I already have two bottles of champagne chilling and it's only going to be ME here. This day is going to be sooooooo slow....
Note to people over the wall: melting pot vs. mosaic--very important difference, and London is a mosaic, and what you're describing in New York is also definitely not melting or melding.

Grocery store was having GREAT deals today, and I managed to get everything I wanted for the week for about $65. Including coffee beans and stuff for chicken soup, so YAY.
And now I am going to make cupcakes, and stare longingly at the bottle of wine for tonight.
