This [link] is going to be built in my neighborhood. Yay!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Wow, that sounds nice. And nice for the 'hood.

My neighbors that are moving out (they are renting their house out, so they will be back on occasion) brought me some cat food and my fluffy princess crawled into the grocery bag they had stuck it in and yowled when I took it away. I think this stuff passes muster.

Eta: love the annotations, Tep!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So The Good Wife did a thing that really annoyed me, but on the other hand, did some stuff that I really liked. Hmmph.

The unheard voicemail message of love?

Better than what Loki did when he ran out the other night and to neighbor's porch. They had a couple chairs outside that are normally inside, and they have 2 cats. He'd rub against them, sniff and then HISS furiously, lather rinse repeat. Ooookay.

I'm glad something like this is going in, and I think I know which corner. I see some proposed plans putting stuff across the street from me, but this isn't that (I kinda dread that, I'll lose my view from the end of the street!) But given the glacial pace of the development in this economy, that isn't a big worry at the moment. And frankly, the whole dev project has been very community oriented: the Y, playground, Ripken's youth stadium at the old stadium field, the senior apartment complex. It's doing nothing but introducing positives into the neighborhood.

That was exactly the irritating thing, -t. But I pretty much liked the rest of it. Margulies was on a hell of a roll. And a pretty addition to the cast. But not enough time to the usual regulars!

I liked the new partner and the "are we being played?" and I'm sure that'll be interesting to see play out. I didn't like the new investigator, or his bit with Kalinda--I didn't feel him or his chemistry But I continue to love the rest of the cast.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I interrupt The Good Wife talk to announce I just ate the best peach. NOM! Of course, this now means I'm peach-less until Sunday.

As you were.

I agree with all of that. I'm interested to see more of Grandma's political maneuvering, and the daughter dealing with being n the public eye but not at the expense of the people I'm already invested in. New investigator guy does not seem like a useful addition, yet, but I'll wait and see what they do with him.

I'm not in love with Kalinda's reaction to the new guy, and that's the essence of that for me.

I blinked during The Event and I no longer know what's going on.
