Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

At 62, his reflexes and eyesight may not have been at their best.

I'm just running the numbers in my head, but if your reflexes don't get you off the 12 mph vehicle in time, or your eyesight doesn't see the cliff, you shouldn't be operating the machinery.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Perhaps he was being chased by Wile E. Coyote. Or maybe velociraptors on hoverboards.

So something we talked about last week has a happy ending:

Abandoned Dalek goes to new home

The mysterious Dalek found last week in an Exeter, England elementary school has found a foster home with John Hadlow, proprietor of a film and TV memorabilia shop in the area. Apparently he will eventually be donated to charity. From This Is Exeter:

Mr Hadlow said: "I felt so sorry for him being stuck in a school cupboard so I've brought him to the shop and he is stood next to the other Dalek.

"He is also going to have a bit of a refurb and be tidied up.

"No one has come forward to claim him since the appeal in the Echo so we can only assume he was dumped."

msbelle, I do have time presently, and would be happy to help! I've bid on a couple of freelance jobs, but no nibble so far, so my time is free now to help out THE NICEST.

I don't claim any kind of insurance expertise, but I can sure look shit up.

coolness, once I gather all the info I will send you an email. Basically it is crunching the numbers of: what I pay now for monthly cover + copays. To compare with: what a high deductible coverage would cost + full price visits. I need research (probably just via esurance) on options of the high deductible options.

I think that the school should have auctioned it off for a new playground or whatever. It would have been a fun event!

I just placed the new runner and small accent rug I bought in my living room this weekend, and have pronounced them groovy. But now I need to find a matching rug to protect the floor behind my desk (and the 53" x 83" monstrosity on the same site is way too large for the space). Has anyone seen this pattern available in a mid-size rug, like 3'x5'?
