And I wonder, what possible catastrophe came crashing down from heaven and brought this dashing stranger to tears?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That picture is awesome. Their expressions are right on point!

Now tagless for your comfort.

I swear, Owen was channeling Eastwood.

Happy Birthday, Matilda! I hope your school transition is worry-free and smooth!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Stink bugs, aighh. I grab them carefully in a paper towel or tissue, gently put them outside if I can, or cruelly flush them down the toilet. Haven't gotten stunk at yet. The cats have learned not to eat them.

Cash, that's a great photo!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Had one of those old fashioned photos taken of the kids. Too much fun!

TOO AWESOME.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

God, I love preying mantises.

You'll pleased to know there's one at Matilda's new school, in the eco-lab room. Apparently it just roams the around eating other bugs. There's a tarantula there too. Also, in the garden there are signs that say "The bugs help the garden!"

Yay classroom bugs!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

There was a GIANT praying mantis on my window the other day. Nearly as long as my forearm. Marvelous creatures!
