Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Stink bugs, aighh. I grab them carefully in a paper towel or tissue, gently put them outside if I can, or cruelly flush them down the toilet. Haven't gotten stunk at yet. The cats have learned not to eat them.

Cash, that's a great photo!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Had one of those old fashioned photos taken of the kids. Too much fun!

TOO AWESOME.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

God, I love preying mantises.

You'll pleased to know there's one at Matilda's new school, in the eco-lab room. Apparently it just roams the around eating other bugs. There's a tarantula there too. Also, in the garden there are signs that say "The bugs help the garden!"

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

There was a GIANT praying mantis on my window the other day. Nearly as long as my forearm. Marvelous creatures!

[link] Loki was asleep on the scratcher, tilting it. He's even more passed out now, and it is higher.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

We would have stinkbug swarms on a stone wall lining our driveway when I was a kids, but we lived in the woods, and they didn't come in the house, or jump or fly at you, or sting. Just...try not to squish 'em.

All the talk about yard work, and doing some stuff in ours today...it's WAY in the future, since our backyard is truly a mess, and needs a ton of serious work, but I would love a fountain of some type in our yard.

I see so many really pretty water feature in magazines and books, and I love running water.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Running water is so calming to me. If I had been able to stay at my home, that's the next thing I would have added to the garden.
