It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I'd like to know why I was irrevocably awake at 6 on a sunday. Not worth trying to go back to sleep for 90 minutes. Will try after than, but kinda feels like it won't work already.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

I'm *still* up. It's nearly 4am here. I hope you're able to get more sleep, sara.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

hi sara, right there with you. I at least know that part of why I am awake is that I was in bed by 9:30.

The past 2 nights mac has refused to go to bed when I said it was time, so I just went myself. Friday he then came and woke me up and ended up sleeping with me. Last night I set the ground rules that if he did not go to bed on time, he had to sleep in his own room and not wake me up. I have no idea when he went to bed.

I found out something interesting from a psychologist this week. After hearing about various mac behaviors he said he would screen him for Asperger's when we have the psych eval in late Oct, but that children who have neglect very early on in their lives (first few years) often will test on the autism spectrum but can then grow out of the symptoms. found that fascinating. For those of you that watch Parenthood, a lot of what mac does on a daily basis is similar to things they highlight wrt Max.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

msbelle, are you finding any books or websites useful?

I ask because I have a little time on my hands while I'm job-searching, and if you tell me (email me?) some of Mac's diagnoses ONLY IF YOU WANT TO, I am not being creepy,I hope, I would be happy to look up and at some sites that might offer support, ideas and advice.

I could also talk to my good friend who's a play therapist who works with troubled children, and see if she has any good suggestions for resources.

You just have a lot on your plate, and this is only thing I can think of to help.

Also want to share that we have gone over a week without a big incident. We will be having ethiopian food for lunch. Not a reward per se, but the adults are definitely celebrating.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I suck. I'm supposed to be at a charity 4k with the dog starting in 20 minutes. And it's just not gonna happen. I really wanted to do it, but it'll take that long at least just to get there, and I'm still so wiped from the past few days.

It's my mom's birthday, and that makes me feel even more shitty about not getting my act together for some reason. Feh.

A week is good! Fabulous, and these steps should be celebrated.

ION, the small children next door are SHRIEKING at the tops of their lungs outside at 8 am on a Sunday. I am glad I am awake; they're nice kids, but OMG, pipe down, kidlets! Dogs are howling in pain.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I found Vampire Circus on Netflix instant-watch, which is happy-making. Not getting much done this morning, but there's that.
