Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I have been doing closet organizing and in the process emptied out 2 more large plastic bins that were in the floor of my room. YAY!

We bought curtain panels for my bedroom today, they were cheaper than we could sew. I haven't yet taken to the room to see if I like them, but mac is about to watch a movie, so maybe I will soon.

also? Go Rangers!

Always Anti-fascist!

I'm one slow Wirefiend, today, Bon. "Avon" had me thinking "makeup" for too long. If Tina, the black cat, had been male, I would have named her Omar, instead of after Tina Turner.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I think we were in the low 80's earlier today. The dojo had a dunk tank to celebrate the 5 year anniversary of our dojo. The kids were very excited about dunking one of our Senseis.

After lessons the kids got to take a turn being dunked. CJ had a blast and all the other kids on the demo team were eager to dunk him. BUT mom and the Sensei had first dibs on dunking him! My aim sucked but I dunked him anyway.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Anyone have a favorite recipe for any kind of strawberry dessert?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Really good strawberries.

Wash. Serve. (Add sweetener if you absolutely insist.)

Dana: strawberry shortcake made with only-a-little-sweetened homemade biscuits, which you butter when they are just out of the oven, and top with strawberries that have been cut and tossed with sugar and left to bleed for a couple of hours. NOM.

Or: cut up the strawberries, spread them in a baking dish, top with sour cream and some brown sugar, and then broil for a few moments. The brown sugar caramelizes and it's awesome.

I did refuse to go for a run today on the grounds of it being too hot and sunny outside.

I did run, but it was at 8:30 and it wasn't too hot yet. But it was the first time all summer I wore my shorts and a running bra top (instead of a t-shirt). It was nice, but I wouldn't want to run now.

I'm supposed to be writing but I want a glass of wine, but all I have in the fridge is Prosecco and it seems indulgent to open it just for myself. And it's too hot for red wine (of which I have plenty).

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

There's an 8:30 in the morning??? I kid. I'm just not functional for more than getting coffee at that time of day, usually.

On Saturdays I usually run earlier than that, but I was on travel this week and really needed to sleep in.

If I don't run in the morning, I pretty much don't run. I used to not be able to run in the morning, but I've been doing it for four years now and I've mostly adjusted. At least once I've done it, I'm done and I can feel self-righteous all the rest of the day...

If I don't run in the morning, I pretty much don't run.

Which is the same for me, and when I had a day job, I could run at 6:30 am no problem. Well, with little problem. And now, NSM. Which is why I just put a whole bunch of cheesy Crunch videos on my Netflix queue, on the theory of "At Least It's Something".
