Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh god, that's awful, Cashmere.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I'm so sorry Cashmere. That's --there are no words.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I remember having my growth spurt in 4th grade (by the end of that grade, I was around 5'3"), and stopped at 5'8" two years later.

Fourth grade was the year I also first wore a bra--first girl in my class, so I felt like a freak, just like the following year when I was the first girl to get my period.

Now tagless for your comfort.

They had a lot of trouble getting pregnant with their first son who just turned a year old and were so happy with the second pregnancy.

I feel so bad for her.

I'm taking the kids to Indiana this weekend so I'm going to give her a call while I'm in town.

In other, less depressing news, I scouted two possible practice venues for roller derby. I got cocky and didn't put on my knee pads, which means I hit a piece of debris on the floor and fell right onto my knees. Hopefully the bruise will be scrapbook worthy.

Because books.

Oh, Cash, I'm so sorry. That's so rough.

Good news on the roller derby practice, though.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Hopefully the bruise will be scrapbook worthy.

That's the spirit! Somewhere I have a picture of a bruise covering one entire butt cheek. My record tally was 43 bruises at once.

That's something to aspire to. I am shocked at how I'm actually not afraid of falling. Once you take a spill or two, it becomes more natural and the fear subsides. It doesn't hurt as much as you expect it to.
