"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I think Ben just measured 5'7" at school, which startled me.

Whoa!

You're all tiny and stuff.

Coding and Sleeping

Right now, Em is tracking at the 40th - 50th percentile in both height and weight. So all indications are that she'll be pretty average. Leif is in the 20th-25th percentile range, so he's looking to be on the small side. It doesn't help that all his classmates are 1 to 2 years older than him too.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

'Cuz you're all tall and stuff.

Mostly I just think it's interesting watching kids grow up.

Because books.

It took me a long time to get used to Jake being taller than me. With Ben it's just adding insult to injury. And Sara is so big now -- just normal six-year-old size, but still -- that I can't comfortably pick her up anymore.

I'm going to go fume and shop for heels on the internets.

Now tagless for your comfort.

What is that?

It's a lethal genetic defect. She's probably five months along in the pregnancy and will carry through. Most Trisomy 18 babies die in utero or are still born.

Oh god, that's awful, Cashmere.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I'm so sorry Cashmere. That's --there are no words.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I remember having my growth spurt in 4th grade (by the end of that grade, I was around 5'3"), and stopped at 5'8" two years later.

Fourth grade was the year I also first wore a bra--first girl in my class, so I felt like a freak, just like the following year when I was the first girl to get my period.

Now tagless for your comfort.

They had a lot of trouble getting pregnant with their first son who just turned a year old and were so happy with the second pregnancy.

I feel so bad for her.
