I'm trying to work out if I can get my hair cut before a noon flight. When I started typing this, it seemed possible, but it's seeming less and less likely the more I think about it. Even if they cut at 8:30...

The song "My Name Is Luka" has always been about a teenaged boy being beaten by his mother or father to me. It occurs to me that I've been doing some work to make it not be about a twenty-something woman being beaten in a relationship.

Well, forcing myself to stay up no matter how much I wanted to nap today may have worked. I'm totally tired. And if I go to bed nowish, I will surely wake at sunrise.

I've done that as well, meara. Only internationally. And have come to the conclusion that part of the reason i'm perennially single is that I'm not normal anywhere.
