Well, we may not have parted on the best of terms. I realize certain words were exchanged. Also, certain... bullets. But that's air through the engine. It's past. We're business people.

Punishingly Intricate

Lawyer says they are trying for closing next Friday. WHOOT!

So happy for you! Also, jealous. Bob had to take his place off the market for now because it was getting no interest and what he'd be able to sell it for would mean swallowing big losses. But he is able to rent it so he's going to do that for a while. Still, it sucks.

Always Anti-fascist!

I read Savage Love. I admire how he never says "You know what? Gross." I might be tempted to, if I were him. I get the feeling that he makes people feel better by answering their questions.

oh lisa, so sorry. But at least renting is covering some of the cost. I need to look at the numbers again and I need to call my mortgage company about getting a mortgage on the new place once I pay the parents back the money they fronted. So lucky, I am.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I can't use a sleep mask, because of the touching of the scalp. Irregular pressure.

I am deciding whether the Thelonious Monk station is better for sleeping to than the Miles Davis Pandora station. I give myself thirty minutes, and then cry inside if I'm not asleep before the timer shuts off.

One can intimate that I've been sadface the past two nights. Normally the Ambien has me not caring by then.

Great news, msbelle!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am home from work early, and now need to make tomatillo chicken stew. Which sounds really good, right? It will totally hit the spot. If I can stand up long enough to make it...

My stupid management company for the NY co-op has never sent me my maintenance bill for September. I emailed asking for a balance - no reply. That was well over a week ago. I hates them.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My sister has decided she'd throw me over for one particular guy. I realise I might shove her under a bus for Idris Elba. That's reasonable, right? I mean...Idris, eh?

Good god, this requirements document is not amending itself. What's up with that?

The day is also not ending.

Art Crawl!!!

Jesse, that stew sounds delicious.

I'm having a frozen meal. Then off to knitting class.

And I am exhausted and my back is ouchy.

Sigh.
