Liese, don't they let you put your fits-on-a-real-plane but not on a commuter one size carryone on the planeside cart, and then put it in the overhead on the real flight you connect to? That's the system they have on all the tiny planes I take!

meara, do you get upgraded frequently since you travel so often?
msbelle, hope you catch a spell soon, and hope you can maintain a semblance of even until that happens.

Dinner was NOM tonight. Tortellini with fresh tomato sauce, CSA carrots and CSA corn. Oh, and some added CSA cherry tomatoes.
That sounds really yum!
Cable guy gone, now off to the shower and bed. Yay.
Bonbon, most of my flights are actually on tiny commuter jets with no upgrade possibilities. Sad. But I don't often get upgraded on the way to/from the bay area because of all the tech companies and other frequent fliers. However, I've done quite well on upgrades to Hawaii, so I figure it evens out. :)

But if they're the ones on Alaska, free booze.
...
Which you probably can't drink before work.
I'm always on those flights on my way to or on my way home from family, I take the wine.
I'm very, very hungry, but indecisive as to what to make for dinner.

True! And they only offer free booze on the evening flights. Which is when I'm either going home or to a hotel. So, I just had some wine. It wasn't very good though--needed to be chilled.
I am very sad that Air Jamaica no longer flies from LA to Jamaica. They have good hot meals, and free champagne. But they're not doing so well financially. Also, apparently everyone but me hates flying them.
