Buffy: He ran away, right? Giles: Sort of, more. turned and swept out majestically, I suppose. Said I didn't concern him. Buffy: So a mythic triumph over a completely indifferent foe? Giles: Well, I'm not dead or unconscious, so I say bravo for me.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

most of my flights are actually on tiny commuter jets with no upgrade possibilities. Sad.

But if they're the ones on Alaska, free booze.

...

Which you probably can't drink before work.

I'm always on those flights on my way to or on my way home from family, I take the wine.

I'm very, very hungry, but indecisive as to what to make for dinner.

True! And they only offer free booze on the evening flights. Which is when I'm either going home or to a hotel. So, I just had some wine. It wasn't very good though--needed to be chilled.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am very sad that Air Jamaica no longer flies from LA to Jamaica. They have good hot meals, and free champagne. But they're not doing so well financially. Also, apparently everyone but me hates flying them.

I'll admit that it almost never makes sense for me to go through Seattle if I am going to San Diego, but the quick flights are often filled with stunning scenery and a glass of wine, so I don't complain much when it happens.

And the last time was when I was flying home from Florida. It was a nice, gentle way to reacquaint myself with the PNW.

Plus I get to say hi to Mt Rainier.

I've decided whenever I fly overseas, I am gonna try for the arab airlines. The ones financed by all those sheiks. Cause even economy class is NICE.

Why do I have a twangy tendon in the hand that isn't doing the bulk of the work stripping? Ball of my palm has hurt for a week and today I banged the base thumb knuckle and got a whole twangy thing happening and could rub that tendon and repeat the sensation. Subsiding now, but so weird. And that's the lazy, non-dominant hand! I must've slept funny or something.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

OK, is anyone but me kinda excited for "Undercovers" tomorrow? It looks fun.

I could use a fun, sexy, funny Abrams show again. Never got into Lost, lasted season of Alias kinds sucked (except for the trove of bizarre pregSydney/Weiss fic I found.)

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Erin, I am. Mildly hopeful, anyway.

Hmmm, where will chatter for that on the TV boards be, anyway?
