Amen, sister. The only place I go regularly is a 10 hour drive. I could fly, but if I add up the travel/wait time (1.5 hour to airport, 1.5 for check-in and security, 2.5 flight, 1.75 from airport to house), it's only 2 hours I save. I'd much rather drive. I can also more easily take my cat when I drive.

I also wonder how those evil seats would work for people who deviate from the average in leg length. I can see Snooki not being able to get her feet on the floor! Or, say, children, you know? Who do ride on airplanes and are actually people who have rights, despite the opinions of many commenters to online articles.

wah Flea, I want to be in the Baltimore/DC area for Thanksgiving so badly. Aquarium is great, spendy though; check out the Science Center, the BMA, and the Walters too. The sprog might like the Paper Moon Diner if you're near the BMA at all.

I usually fly WestJet as their prices tend to be better than Air Canada. I have never had any major problems.
