I'd call Steve Buscemi a lot of things. "Hunky" is not one of them.
Natter 66: Get Your Kicks.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, pandas, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I think that was ironic.
Better than Air Canada, you think?
Oh yeah.
I can't remember if I mentioned here that we have an au pair named Ana living with us for the next year while Joe is gone. Anyway, a piece broke off her tooth about two weeks ago but it didn't hurt, so she didn't do anything. Then, about three days ago it started hurting. We called her insurance plan and they told her that dont cover anything dental if that tooth has ever been worked on before. Nice. So I sent her and Joe to a low cost dentist this morning and they pulled out her tooth! I'm sort of upset that they couldn't do anything to save the tooth and now I feel horrible because I'm thinking maybe they could but it was too expensive. I know Joe was going to pay any fees and I'm sure he wouldn't have said to pull her tooth to save us money, but I'm still bothered.
Ana was, not surprisingly, shocked to find out that the social security card we all carry does not entitle us to medical and dental benefits.
Happy birthday Sophia and smonster!
I find airplanes increasingly unpleasant as it is. Those seats would likely encourage me to find another way to travel.
Poor Ana. Shitty introduction to the American Medical Care situation.
The WestJet prices did look better than Air Canada. I just had good memories of Air Canada, but that was a long long time ago, and business class to boot.
Steve Buscemi is many things. Hunk he is not remotely. Ironic or sarcastic or summat.
I have a work crush on my business users. They just bigged me up for the successful go live and gave me chocolate. But I had the crush on them before that. Mutual lovefest FTW.
Still dead person walking, though.
Happy birthday to Sophia and smonster!
I'd much rather drive. I can also more easily take my cat when I drive.
Exactly. My KC drive is 9 hours. The door to door time with flying is around 6 hours. With driving, I go on my own schedule, save money on petsitting and airfare, and I have wheels while I'm there.
If anyone has kids who enjoy Arthur and/or Martha Speaks on PBS, here's a fun game that combines them. [link] It may also be fun for anyone who enjoys playing around with pictures on the computer...
Oooh, fun! Sara adores Martha Speaks. She is determined to have a talking dog at some point, I think.
