It's a real burden being right so often.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think The Event is supposed to be sci fi, which would make it Boxed Set, but I guess not knowing is the point.

IO9 thinks it's sci fi, anyway. But they can be grabbalicious.

I've only really had carbs to eat today. I should probably just slam a frozen steak on the grill and call things averaged out, right?

I mean, in my vegetable-free world.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Isn't the Event that they get superpowers? That's what I seem to have picked up out of the ether, at least...

Because books.

I'm sure someone can spare you a beet.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

So then it would be 24 + Lost + Heroes.

At the 30-minute mark, it finally starts to get interesting.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

To me, beets are those things the plant in Croswell, MI, uses to make sugar. OK, I do like them when they're pickled. And I've had borscht and liked it. But I just don't find myself at the grocery store going, "Hmmmm. I'll have beets with dinner tonight."

Tonight I steamed some green beans and baked some chicken. It was tastier than you might expect. The chicken was fresh and juicy and just needed a touch of salt. And the beans hit the spot.

I had a spinach empanada and spinach and basil (from my neighbor's plant) and tiny tomato salad. Which I will probably have tomorrow night. Basil is a nice surprise in salad.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I'm sure someone can spare you a beet.

I can. Fuzzy raspberries thwarted me from having an Ocean's 11 joke themed dinner (Check this... all... red!) and so I am steaming artichokes.

I think that's No Ordinary Family, Jesse. Or that happens there too.

I have the TJ's beets in my fridge. But they have been there a long time. I should probably toss them. No way they could possibly taste good.

They have an expiration date on the packages and it's a very long time usually.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

FUMBLE!
