I had a spinach empanada and spinach and basil (from my neighbor's plant) and tiny tomato salad. Which I will probably have tomorrow night. Basil is a nice surprise in salad.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I'm sure someone can spare you a beet.

I can. Fuzzy raspberries thwarted me from having an Ocean's 11 joke themed dinner (Check this... all... red!) and so I am steaming artichokes.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think that's No Ordinary Family, Jesse. Or that happens there too.

I have the TJ's beets in my fridge. But they have been there a long time. I should probably toss them. No way they could possibly taste good.

They have an expiration date on the packages and it's a very long time usually.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

FUMBLE!

meara, does your fridge contain sweet chili sauce? Because omg do I have a nommy way to eat salmon if you do.

I have...hot sauce. Um. What is sweet chili sauce? Can I get it at trader joes? Cause I'm as close to them as you are. (OOH! If only Trader Joes' were the vortex of transport! Then I could be all "here! Have some raspberries, because I have many!" and you could hand me chili sauce and explain your salmon plan)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think that's No Ordinary Family, Jesse. Or that happens there too.

Oh yeah, that could be right. Both titles fit the concept I have vaguely in my head! And I'm not watching either, dammit.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Dinner shall be RED!

And so shall your PEE!

(can't tell you how many times I've startled myself with beets. like, every.)

Jesse sounds like the 4400 or whatever. I've been burned before, so I'm not going to bother. They should give up the event on the first show.

LOOK, I JUST WANT TO THROW MY BEETS AWAY.

Ate steak. Was nummy. And that was all dinner was. Today has been a very unhungry day. Let's not tell my mother.
