Oooh, is it Castle night? Cool.
Forgot to add him to the list of "people whose food issues I have on speed dial in my brain."
I am fairly amused that many people no longer freak if I am about to eat avocado. They just ask if I took my Benedryl.
But I would cry if someone wanted to serve me a big bowl of beets of something.
Oooh, I should have this for dinner. With goat cheese crumbled on top. I love Trader Joe's.
A stranger at a party last week was telling me that TJ's sold these cooked and peeled beets in packages. I let her go on because she was really excited to share the news. Didn't tell her that the packages says 2.5 servings and I say it's dinner.
I also have raspberries I can have for dessert! Dinner shall be RED!
I'm sorry javachik, but that was hilarious (Niners are probably my second favorite team)
java, you let me know if I get too obnoxious. I don't know about the other Saints fans, but I'm not used to winning yet, and I have to stifle the urge to yell "IN YOUR FACE, OPPONENTS!" a lot.
I am having a big bowl of beets and potatoes right now AIFG! Both roasted and sliced up, a little butter, a lot of NOM.
I have the TJ beets in my fridge right now! Maybe they should be dinner.
Oh no, please do go on with your Saints-loving selves!!!! I love all genuine sports enthusiasm!
Niners fans had our Glory Years and they were awesome but we're now in the middle of our Penance Years.
Beets, it's what's for dinner.
Eta: I am such a victim of advertising.
Maybe they should be dinner.
Yes! We can theme eat. It'd be like having dinner together but from 600 miles apart. And maybe at different times.
Looking back at the Baltimore map, I live right on the dividing edge between one of the few large majority white and majority black neighborhoods. Which I could have told you (if I didn't know from knowing the city and its history) by my Y demographics alone. I'd say more black than white, but just barely, plus a handful of asian and indian (though the youngest demographic is more black.) I go to the Y up in Parkville, and see relatively few black people, but a maybe half and half white and asian.
still view beets with suspicion
