Strength and healing to you and your family, amyth.
If you don't mind my asking, what is your brother taking, is it Tykerb? My MiL is on it so we've done some of the legwork on finding ways to get it affordably. Feel free to email me if that info would be helpful.
And Pix and ND, very glad to hear the operation was a success.
So I woman-ed up and went out with my neighbor for dinner and her boy's band (I almost bailed on account of homebodiness.) It was a great deal of fun, though it would've been nicer not to drive, but given how the numbers of designated drivers dwindled rapidly, glad I did. Had a amazingly good bbq chicken pizza, though probably should have just stuck with eating half...
And now I am home and way too wound up to sleep. And I wanted to do an early morning tomorrow. We shall see.
I have just discovered I'm supposed to be on a con call at 6a tomorrow morning.
I will do my bit by going into the ER a couple hours earlier than normal, but that's pretty much guaranteed incommunicado time for me. Ah, well.
Also, Series H of QI premiered last night. It's on YouTube.
Yay! Thanks!
bon is here. She is sleeping, because my con call is going long. ::sniff:: Want more TV.
I honestly didn't realize at the time how long I had slept. It was that kind of nap. That couch is awesome.
oh fuck.
Hi. I'm awake. I've been so since, oh, 1:00. This blows. I guess I should go grade papers.
Kat, yuck.
So. I just got back in touch with a friend from hs. He happened to mention that he used to work for the org I just interviewed with, and apparently they are not all they seem. I've asked for details. Oh dear.
Timelies all!
I'm glad that Drew's gallstone has been found and removed. Hopefully he will be feeling much better now.
Good news about the gallstone -- Drew should be on the mend. I hope the healing is swift!
And just wish some of the other ongoing situations were as 'easy' to repair.
I got some major decluttering done yesterday -- but now I have some 'new' piles to dispose of. Stil, it's progress, right?
All those MRIs and CT scans managed to miss the 7 mm gallstone that was lodged in Drew's common bile duct.
Holy crap. Glad the surgery was a success and GO HEALING DREW.
Vortex, give me a call next time you're going to be in town and available! I didn't know you were a UVA alumna! Hell, you probably know this town better than I do.
I just realized I was thinking cm, not mm, so now I am not nearly as shocked as earlier, BUT STILL.
