So. I just got back in touch with a friend from hs. He happened to mention that he used to work for the org I just interviewed with, and apparently they are not all they seem. I've asked for details. Oh dear.

I'm glad that Drew's gallstone has been found and removed. Hopefully he will be feeling much better now.

Good news about the gallstone -- Drew should be on the mend. I hope the healing is swift!

And just wish some of the other ongoing situations were as 'easy' to repair.

I got some major decluttering done yesterday -- but now I have some 'new' piles to dispose of. Stil, it's progress, right?

All those MRIs and CT scans managed to miss the 7 mm gallstone that was lodged in Drew's common bile duct.

Holy crap. Glad the surgery was a success and GO HEALING DREW.

Vortex, give me a call next time you're going to be in town and available! I didn't know you were a UVA alumna! Hell, you probably know this town better than I do.

I just realized I was thinking cm, not mm, so now I am not nearly as shocked as earlier, BUT STILL.

Yeah, 7mm is pretty damned big when you consider the opening to the duct is the width of the tip of a pen.

Yeah, I`m still pretty shocked at the mm. No wonder Drew was in so much pain. Anyway, glad it`s out.
 
And yay for decluttering, Theo. I had such a successful Clean All The Things midweek that this weekend, which is usually Desultorily Sigh At All The Things is only going to have to be Maintain All The Clean. Which, huh, turns out my mom was right about that. And so all I have to do today is that and watch football. And swim, but I think l`ll go do that sooner than later so as to accommodate afternoon slounging without pesky exercise getting in the way.
 
And I am down to four boxes of random crap I`ve been carting around for years. AND I have four boxes ready to go up in my awesome new attic storage space. All of which means I have gained a ton of office closet space and we may be able to close our storage unit (yay money savings) and I also cleared the top shelf in my master bedroom closet.

I am making zucchini bread and doing laundry. I don't feel like grocery shopping to get the other things I would need to cook today, even though it looks lovely outside! I guess it's still early enough that it could happen.
