So, my chicken fell off of the bone. I am currently boiling potatoes to make mashed potatoes. I will use the drippings to make gravy, which I will then pour over the mashed potatoes. I am psyched.

I'm headed to the store, and I swear I have forgotten to put something essential on my shopping list. I've looked in my cabinets and my fridge to try to spark my memory. Still no clue.
Man, I love food with no ingredients. What's better than just potatoes roasted with olive oil and salt? Not much.
Milk? Salt? Oil? TP?
It's cool enough to make chicken soup! I might make some tonight. It's raining.
I generally make the stock with a whole cut-up chicken, celery, carrots, diced onions a bay leaf, 3 cloves, tarragon, aa buttload of mince garlic, 4 cups of water, 3 cups of chicken broth (hey, I like a chickeny soup) and a cup of lemon juice.
Then to make the chicken soup, I debone the chicken, put the veg back in, and add a splash of wine. I add mushrooms, and then some shitake mushrooms, and salt and pepper. YUM.
Jesse. Potatoes roasted with oil, minced garlic, pepper. Then salt to taste.
I made roasted cauliflower the other night. NOM NOM NOM.
Mmm, garlic is also good.

Maybe it's a non-food item, like TP or toothpaste.
I could eat my body weight of garlicky roasted fingerling potatoes. SO. GOOD.
I like my potatoes crispy, so garlic tends to burn, and I don't like garlic enough to deal with it most of the time, honestly. Sticky.
I still don't understand how my cousin didn't like potatoes when we were little.
the chicken gravy was NOM. I might be motivated to make biscuits later in the week to have biscuits and gravy with some of the leftovers.
I will probably also add mushrooms and rice for soup later in the week as well. I wonder if they'll have mushrooms at the farmer's market tomorrow.
