Oh, yeah. There was this time I was pinned down by this guy that played left tackle for varsity... Well, at least he used to before he was a vampire... Anyway, he had this really, really thick neck, and all I had was a little, little Exact-O knife ... You're not loving this story.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I'm headed to the store, and I swear I have forgotten to put something essential on my shopping list. I've looked in my cabinets and my fridge to try to spark my memory. Still no clue.

Maybe it's a non-food item, like TP or toothpaste.

I could eat my body weight of garlicky roasted fingerling potatoes. SO. GOOD.

I like my potatoes crispy, so garlic tends to burn, and I don't like garlic enough to deal with it most of the time, honestly. Sticky.

I still don't understand how my cousin didn't like potatoes when we were little.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

the chicken gravy was NOM. I might be motivated to make biscuits later in the week to have biscuits and gravy with some of the leftovers.

I will probably also add mushrooms and rice for soup later in the week as well. I wonder if they'll have mushrooms at the farmer's market tomorrow.

Maybe I'll make a pot roast instead. I think I want red meat.

Hmm. What I REALLY want is a grilled steak, but it's kinda raining outside. Balls.

I've been eating all day. Caprese salad made with an heirloom tomato, with some pepperoni. Honeydew melon. Roasted acorn squash over arugula topped with garlic butter, crumbled bacon, and parmesan romano cheese. In a bit, I think I'm going to make panko-crusted tilapia and polenta with mascarpone.

Dinner tonight (do not fast for Yom Kippur) Mexican leaning Pork and beans. Kidney beans, lean pork loin, onions, mexican squash, green pepper, cooked in salsa, lemon juice, red wine, honey, with salt garlic and black pepper, and a little cheese melted into it for flavor. I am so headed to Gehenna.
