Y'all see the man hanging out of the spaceship with the really big gun? Now I'm not saying you weren't easy to find. It was kinda out of our way, and he didn't want to come in the first place. Man's lookin' to kill some folk. So really it's his will y'all should worry about thwarting.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

hivemind question!

i've booked a car service to take me to and from the airport when i come to Chicago next month, but the company seems kind of flaky. does anyone know of a legit and non-flaky car service that i can use?

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I had a macro-nap. I have to go to work tomorrow, so I hope I start feeling better soon.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My friends on Facebook are posting about a tornado in Brooklyn? WTFF?!

I meant to say, my Facebook was blowing up with this as well. Damn hipster tornados.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Hodgman was funny about the tornado on twitter:

I know other cities have "tornados". But you really haven't had one til you've had an AUTHENTIC Brooklyn tornado.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

A tornado tore through metro Detroit when I lived there. It was very freaky.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's especially funny because I'm hearing it in Hodgman's voice.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Kick me for self-pity. It's so unbecoming.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I had a tornado pass over my apartment in Philly. Uprooted a tree outside the kitchen on one side, and the bedroom on the other.

Then it destroyed a garden in Narberth that was about to be featured on one of those makeover shows.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Allyson, you kick yourself quite enough. I hope you find a venue you like.

It's way too early for Derby Girl drama. Seriously. At least it's not one of the founders. They all have their shit straight.
