"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I once saw a girl wearing a black racerback tank with a plain white bra, just as basic as can be. As much as I don't like it, I can sort of wrap my mind around showing a pretty bra, but just wearing a random bra, ugh.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Not about underwear, but this made me happy: [link]

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I like that visible bra straps are getting to be no big deal. Makes me feel better about mine, which I don't try to show off, but they do fall out from under anything sleeveless.

I think I remember the surprisingly classy Halle thong. It's hard to pull off. Gillian Anderson, I think, also managed. I kind of like the thong strings visible above the low-cut jeans look, though. Probably the hooker-chic of my youth messed up fashion sense beyond repair.

The illusion of nudity Venus has going on, I don't know, it's troubling, but I feel like maybe it should not be troubling and I should just try harder to get over it.

Because books.

I still get weirded out if my bra straps show accidentally. And when I see cute spaghetti strap tops, I always think about how I'd need to wear a tank top under it.

I heartily disapprove of visible thongs under jeans. Just, no. Also, if your pants are thinnish and light colored, for the love of god, do not wear hot pink or orange thongs. I don't need to know that.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Also, I think thongs are evil. Given the choice I'd vote commando. But I know lots of people wear thongs. Even people I respect!

My twin sister usually wears a thong all the time. I tried one...once.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You're right-Gillian Anderson did do it well too.

I don't wear pretty bras anymore, so there's no flashing temptation. I don't like the look where the bra strap is wider than the strap of the top, even if it is transparent. My visible straps were wide necked tops. I'm undecided on dark bras under light tops. I feel it shouldn't bother me, but I judge.

Because books.

In other news, a seventh grade chorus doing a super extended version of "We Are the World" makes me homicidal. Who would have guessed?

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

That bothers me. I'll sit in the judgy corner with you.

I just got back to school from 6 Flags. I are hot and sweaty but the kids were great. In a wierd twist of fate, my old school was there today, too. So I saw a bunch of my former students and spent the afternoon with some of the teachers. It was a good day. Now, I need to go home and shower. Srsly.
