Chocolate chip cookies are cooling in the kitchen using up more baking stuff!

Nom nom nom. To top off my week of good fun? DMV tomorrow. WHEEEEEE!

Actually none of it is bad. It's all okay. just busy.

Also, I saw my friend D who 2 years ago had surgery to remove tumors on his throat. Then 18 months ago had tumors removed from his brain and is now slowly wasting away. It was lovely to see him and sad too.

My flight is already delayed. Only by 20 minutes and I haven't even left the house yet...but this does not bode well.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I should never have to overhear a coworker telling someone on the phone he has a dirty, dirty mind, right? That he's a dirty, dirty guy? Especially when he's already talking in his sex voice?

EVERY DAY he has these intimate phone calls. Today he's started really early--usually he waits until everyone else in his department has gone home.

Gee, I thought my coworker who has long calls with her husband discussing really boring things like which bus they will take for 10 minutes on end was bad.

I feel so guilty for not liking this woman. She is very nice, but boring and annoying.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

My over-the-cubicle-wall coworker has frequent and extensive discussions with her husband every day about topics ranging from car insurance to what she's having for lunch to rather intimate details about their health. Drives me nuts, but now I can at least be glad that she is not also telling him she has a dirty, dirty mind!

At least he didn't demonstrate said dirty mind, but still! Not how I need to think about co-workers, and he's one that makes a point of talking to me, so I can't totally ignore him.
