You know, I just... I woke up, and I looked in the mirror, and I thought, hey, what's with all the sin? I need to change. I'm... I'm dirty. I'm, I'm bad with the... sex and the envy and that, that loud music us kids listen to nowadays.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Question: What the fuck if he's not?

No kidding.

The police have been contacted. And it's a PUBLIC garden.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You mustn't be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling.

Hey, my first conciliatory move was Arthur/Eames. I don't leave home without my goggles on. I don't wake up without my goggles on. And, honestly, judging by last night's dreams, I don't sleep without them on either.

I'm trying to instill a modicum of slash-shame in myself, but I saw the trailer for The Town and leant over to Polgara and suggested one skip the movie and move right to the obvious authority-related dub-con between Affleck's character and Hamm's, and I only felt slightly wrong.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I'm pretty sure fandom got me my job.

I find it hard to explain being murdered twice.

I watched you get murdered yesterday! Well, heard FBI agents talk about you being murdered yesterday.

Great. Now I'm distracted by a file with RPS in the filename. Dude. Fic, leave me alone.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

My dad use to drive to parks, sit in his car, and read a book. The last few years of his life he had mobility problems that sometimes made walking problematic, especially over gravel or broken sidewalks. He just wanted to get out the apartment and be around people while he read, even if he didn't know them.

He was not a pedophile.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Allyson: You can't just sing, "Hey, I've died twice"? No?

Juliebird: Do you give tours or something? I can imagine someone with balls (and/or overly perky and/or friendly) going over to invite him to participate in something, all nice-like. That would let the person get a vibe off him, at least, and give him a chance to say no, he just likes sitting for whatever reason. I would think that's what they mean by "notice him, talk to him." Not that you should walk up to a stranger and accuse him of being a perv.

I don't have a link to the comm to hand, but I did notice that the Inception kink meme is up and running on LJ. Bless. But way too many people ship Cobb with people not Mal, which is really wrong, as much as I thought I'd ship him with Ariadne or Arthur.

Wait! No, I'm down with Cobb/Saito in Limbo. Not sure what's up with that.

I have a slight crush on that movie.
