Like, how do you not realize that you are an asshole?
I bet the asshole was always in there, but when he graduated high school and got out in the world, especially with all that distance between him and K-bug, it rose up and bit everyone else on the ass. A lot of things look good to a certain kind of person if they think they're not going to get caught.

He sounds just so... young and stupid. Very emotionally stunted.
My ex was like that even into his 40s. I remember the drama, the red hot fury of betrayal. (I was the other woman, ended up taking the scorned woman to the mental hospital after her suicide attempt in my apartment) The best advice I have is to try to shake off the rage. Remember, he's gonna have to live with himself for the rest of his life. His stupidity and insecurity will eventually drag everyone down around him into the muck of the drama.
Not that I blame K-Bug for her righteous anger- it's totally normal, appropriate, and understandable!
I'm just saying... be careful how far down the rabbit hole of his assholery y'all go down. It can come back and kick you in the ass, and he's NOT worth it.
