Because books.

I can't find the one I had seen. I looked, though!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Good god. Google keeps intermittently being unavailable to me because of web nannying, and I just can't bear the bing image search interface.

Meanwhile, work continues to be tense, and stuff and stuff and stuff and our next go live date is in jeopardy, oh no. Oy.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Because I can't really rant about it there, though I will have to say something...because, I just don't know how to let this lie.

Aunt's FB status. "Racist Aunt":can't believe what I just paid for an iron! I must be insane or my eyes are starting to slant.......

Comment that hasn't been deleted nor chided? "Are you thinking of opening up a laundry?

I mean, yeah, not really the best use of energy, but I can't not say something!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Happy Birthday Kat!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yikes, Daisy.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Am now discussing with cousins. We normally don't respond to anything she says because it's often ridiculous stuff. But in ignoring all the crazy, we didn't respond when she was upset about our adopted cousin meeting his bio family. So now rather than feel like we just don't pay attention to the old folks, she'll feel like we're just picking on her.

I don't know. I get upset when people say crap like that, knowing (or rather wrongly thinking) they're amongst people who think like they do. And everyone's smiling smugly to themselves, because hey, we all know it's true.

Of course I know it's also kicking a hornet's nest.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

JenP, I'll have pictures up later this week, but I'm sure you'll find them before then. Heh.

Jilli, the panel wasn't as insane and shrieky as last year's! The room didn't even fill up. And Rorschach didn't ask a question. I'm sure you've read recaps already, but I think the best thing that came out of it for me was the promise that Hargreaves's alien form is awesome (but not in the next volume, alas).

Probably because there's been no new comics from him, no new music from MCR, and no one felt brave enough to ask about either his ridiculous hair or why did Bob leave the band OMG.
