I have what feel like random issues with stone fruits -- I sometimes have a minor reaction, sometimes don't, even with raw fruit. In short: I dunno.
And on the age thing: I don't think it matters, and I think it always comes up. But maybe I talk about my youth too much! Or at least the music of my youth -- that's when it tends to come up with me. I say something about a song from high school or college, and as it turns out he was in whatever younger school level applies.... Or vice versa.
Where are you people? I do not want to work today! And I have a headache.
I don't want to work today! I have a 10am meeting, which should waste some time....
Tonight I'm going to a party with my parents. The people there should be more my age, since the host is the daughter of my mother's college roommate, and it's kind of in my neighborhood, which is why they are dragging me along. It should be fun, I hope. Must remember to get a bottle of wine. My mother forwarded me the menu for the party, via host's mother, because apparently one year (many years ago!) they just had strawberries and popcorn to eat, and her mother was Not Pleased. Heh.
I have to get dressed, get Grace dressed and ready for the bus.
I had strawberries and kettle corn for breakfast. I'd fit right in!
I need to get Olivia up and ready for soccer. After that we have a library play date since it's been raining here.

Heh. This year there is a more extensive menu. But it's still not a dinner party! Which is fine.
I am so hungry I wish I had strawberries and kettlecorn!
Zen, go for it! I've dated guys everywhere from 5-17 years younger than me. (42 to his 25 and I was a year older than his mother, go figure.) Don't worry about kids until it even comes close to feeling like it might be going somewhere and not just dating. I, for one, have always been way upfront, but that's because I had my tubes tied and I already had two kids. Of course, this was back when I was a little younger and juicier and might actually have a suitor or two to choose from and it was a way to weed out the ones who wanted kids. Nowadays, I feel like planting a sign in front of my condo with "SWF, financially secure and no issues."
