I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

am tired.

not ded tired like a few days ago, but tired.

mac and the friend had a wee argument today and mac feels those very strongly so he's a bit on edge. We got library cards today. YAY! I unpacked a couple more boxes after work and got all my summer clothes hung up or put away. Well, all that are unpacked anyway. I have yet to find the majority of my summer work type clothes. Then dad and I went to IKEA to get a mattress and look around. I found a metal round table in the as in section for $13 so that is now on the back patio. Mattress is on mac's old bed getting ready for uncle G who arrives tomorrow.

My mom is going to come over tomorrow morning and help mac unpack a few of the boxes in his room. He is lost as to what to do.

Hopefully I can get up earlier than 8 tomorrow and get a couple of hours logged at work before people start emailing me. Then I can take a break and undo a few more boxes.

Does anyone have a good recipe for Pattypan squash? I got one in my CSA squash medley, and I've never cooked them before.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

When I've had them in restaurants, they've been whole, so maybe steamed or sauteed with some herbs? I've found roasting works for pretty much any veg.

Long talk with my mom about my dad and his sister tonight. I'm glad I made noises about visiting, cause else he wouldn't have. Glad I am going as well, esp. after he does. And that I'll see him after.

I am one of the few people who can really hurt my dad and yet still care and see he's hurt. Mixed blessing. So I'll go forth again...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am so fucking on edge right now. I teared up at least three times today...once reading fic where a character had a hobbit moment, once when Renegade by Styx came on my iPod, and once where a co-worker said he woke up in the middle of the night with a massive headache. Dude, that's my life. I just have to decide if I treat it.

I need rest. Proper rest. I think I have tomorrow afternoon off, but honestly, Saturday will be my first full day off 19 days.
