Because books.

We're very quiet today. My usual procrastination methods have been compromised.

Tis quiet.

My work laptop lease is up and I'm getting a new computer this afternoon. After they take mine for 1-3 hours. Uhhhh...guess I won't be working during that time.

Can anyone recommend good PS3 games? I don't like first person shooter or GTA type games. I know CJ is getting a gift card for his birthday and I want to be prepared with suggestions.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

She replied, "You're not old. Old people are wrinkly. You're not wrinkly."

Aw. Good kid.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Ordinarily I'd be complaining that today is being a Monday, but since I took the last two days off, I guess it's only natural. sigh

Emmett has Xbox 360 but he just got Assassin's Creed (on Sean's recommendation) and has been loving it. He also loves the MLB 2K baseball game. And the Harry Potter Lego games are superfun.

The HP Lego game is addictive. All three of us have been playing that one. I'm thinking of looking for other Lego games.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Em loves the Star Wars Lego game.

hip deep in pie

The only PS 3 game I've played Little Big Planet but I LOVED it. Of course, it's the type of game my 14 year old nephew hates. (He likes shooting and sports.)

Ditto Emmett. He's played them all and Star Wars and Harry Potter are his fav Lego games. Light sabers and spells really lend themselves to the game play and the worlds are just fun to be in.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Suzi, outside of the shooter issue, what are your tolerances for language, non-gun violence, etc? Also, any particular games or genres of games that you know CJ likes, or that his friends are into?

I'll scan our shelves tonight (and more importantly, get S. to do so, as he has a freaky encyclopedic knowledge of EVERY GAME EVER MADE FOR ANY GENERATION OF PLAYSTATION, ISTG.)
