Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

Go team Greenwich Mean Time; I've already been in work for an hour. Need more tea.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

We're up with a very wet bed. Mac is taking a shower because it was all over him. BUT on the brightside he had slept the whole night in his bed.

Swouncing

Skipping yet again in between all the end-of-semester mess (and, well, grading) because, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is SA's birthday.

Happy birthday, SA! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!

[Edited to hug msbelle from a distance (which I wish were so much smaller). I've been trying to keep up, what with all the skimming and skipping, with what's going on with you, and I'm thinking about you a lot lately, obviously. Good luck with all that's left to be done.]

Happy Birthday, SA!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I didn't realize that the Susan Buffet Foundation (wife of Warren) funds so much pro-choice and contraception programs.

Oh yeah. The old Buffett Foundation was a huge funder of the pro-choice place I worked for.

JESUSITA - just got word that HR is trying to retroactively make 7/9 my last day as an employee! FUCKERS! My boss and I were trying to get info from them my last two weeks. Then I worked from home another full week. They would never get back to us. I HATE THEM!. He is trying to fight it, but I am not sure he will win.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Jesse, it still does! I don't know why I'm tickled by that, but I guess it's because I think of Buffet as so plain spoken and midwestern, precisely the opposite of the stereotypical baby killer liberals. Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation also currently funds LOTS of contraception work, especially overseas, and I think it's great, just not as surprising.

Also, good morning buffistas.

Happy birthday SA.

I think some of the Grace bumps have diminished, except at her waistline where she has continued to scratch.
