I generally have had a bob, long hair or an angled bob my whole life. Very briefly, in 1986-87 my hair was feathered with bangs, but I quickly learned that bangs look horrible on me. Also I tend to cut my own hair, and have since about 1990, so a bob the length of the mirror works for me. Any time I go to the hairdresser, I get "mom hair".

The status is NOT quo.
My mom doesn't get into new music and has had the same haircut for as long as I can remember, but she's in love with life and one of the most open minded people I know. I do wish I could talk her into playing with a different hairstyle, but she's pretty set in that regard. Like Trudy said, she just feels comfortable with the cut.
