Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Just got more information about J's accident. There was a 4 car accident that happened right in front of her. She swerved off the road to avoid the accident, went into a ditch and down an embankment, over corrected and rolled her Highlander 6 or 7 times.

She is going into surgery again tomorrow for her neck (broken in 3 places) and her arm (broken in multiple places). Apparently she has been able to recognize people and has spoken, though she has been told not to talk.

I wish there were something I could do other that just worry.

Yikes, Suzi!

We went out to dinner with the twins which is a bad adventure (it was 3 adults, a teen and two preschoolers). Then we went to a park after and just sat, which was great as it cooled off enough to enjoy being outside.

Then I got a call to teach a gig at UCLA that canceled my trip to Seattle, but will pay quite a bit. I'm sad at being responsible as I was looking forward to PNW, but happy for the work in this mandatory-furlough times.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Hooray for more $$$, Kat.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Sad that we'll miss you, but Seattle is always here, and $$ is not!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yay rollerderby.

I went out drinking with Juliana for her birthday. I am not so much sober.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Sobriety is overrated.

Yikes, Suzi. I hope your friend's surgery will be able to put her back together.

I'm back in NC again, with as full computer access as a loving cat across my wrists allows. Last Friday Aims invited me and Debetesse over for a delicious dinner. I also got to meet the ever-charming Emmeline. It was a lovely way to cap off my vacation. Midwest-istas are awesome.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Have yet to sleep straight through the night in the new house. I hope that ends once the furniture gets here.

Today we church with the parents. They go to early church, 8:30. That is earlier than I would wake up for church in ny. We will be done and leaving by the time we would have arrived at chirch in ny.

Mac and I are both preparing for a small herd of people to swarm us. Mom and dad are very active in the church and these people know all about our stuff.

Our wings are not tired.

Happy belated to Juliana!

Sending the ~ma to J for a quick recovery.

$$ is a good thing, Kat. So is visiting the PNW. Sorry it has to be a choice thing.

Best wishes for facing the swarm, msbelle. Community and family support is a wonderful thing to have in this life.
