Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Now tagless for your comfort.

atypical, "normal" shot of me in high school.

This was after my hair grew back after shaving half of it off. I didn't have an aesthetic, per se, but I was dark. Dark humor, dark art, snarky and obsessed with death.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Oh, grandpa was in D's closet for years and years. We teased that meant that he still had to wear a coat and tie at Thanksgiving dinner because his dad insisted and dad was right there. In the closet.

Once grandma died, we scattered them both together.

Word of warning - ashes held in a humid environment for years? Turns into rock on its own.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

really, kind of a waste of resources.

Uh huh. Plus air pollution via cremation. Oh sure, they've got filters. But do you want to be in their filters?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

This one seems a little more early Cure.

Paternal grandparents went to science, maternal to the dirt.

OK, so I think I'm at the point on one TINY section where all the more to do is a light stripper after sanding and picking at nooks with pointy things: [link] [link] May not look like progress, but it is: [link]

If only we'd had sensors on you.
