Now I did a job. I got nothing but trouble since I did it, not to mention more than a few unkind words as regard to my character so let me make this abundantly clear. I do the job. And then I get paid.

Sigh. I didn't do everything (or even most things) I needed to today. At least one thing is now officially late, for no reason other than I felt like frittering away my day on Borg and fb. And yet, here it is past my bedtime, I'm sleepy, I have an early morning meeting...and all I can think is "I'm bored and ran out of Internet and I want more and someone to talk to me!!". WTF, self?? I think this is addiction. Or possibly I just need a life. But you people are everywhere I go, and a life isn't!!

Keep breathing!

We can haz earthquake! A 3.6 one right around 5am here and I felt it! Now I'm not jealous of you West Coast people anymore, cause now I know what one feels like. (At least a little one.) (And I'm perfectly grateful that it was little.) Everything just - vibrated - for about 6 seconds, felt like.

News report says that lots of people were freaked out, but many thought it was the President's helocopter rattlng things. Welcome to life near Washington, D.C.

And yes,I am up too early this morning. Grrrr.

Bananas! I was awake because... I don't know why I was awake. And suddenly "THUMP rattlerattlerattle" like a big rock crashed onto the roof and then rolled. Which I knew made no sense, but neither did "earthquake."

Now tagless for your comfort.

Yikes, Shari!

I'm up from a strange case of acid reflux after far too hours of sleep. But at least there's no earthquake here.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Mac and I are up also. 7.5 hours of sleep was probably not enough, but we are both wide awake.

Upside? We may make the 6:30 garage sale.

I bought mac 4 pairs of pants at goodwill yesterday since basically outgrew all his jeans the last 2 weeks in ny. Then also got a rolly cart for between my washer and dryer there. Love the giant super clean goodwill right by our house.

information libertarian

Ignoring the scary sex toy talk, I marched in place with my eyes closed and didn't go anywhere. Dillo asked, "Why are you doing that?" I didn't reply, "For SCIENCE! And JESSE!"

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

YAY! Edit: BOO. I thought you DID say that. But still, thanks for the data point.

I accidentally turned off my alarm clock yesterday. I think I'll still make my shuttle though!

hip deep in pie

We may make the 6:30 garage sale.

A 6:30 AM start to a yard sale on a Friday? Texas really is different.

I tried marching in place last night and stayed in place. Which is strange because I can't walk a straight line with my eyes open.

Seriously. I mean, I guess if you're going to have a yard sale on a week day, you want to catch the before-work shoppers?? IDEK.

So I did make the shuttle, and was as usual the first one here. That's not entirely fair, since my boss is often here, but who can tell, since she keeps her door shut.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

6:30 am Thursday or Friday is usually when the early bird come, here in Upstate. If you are having a garage sale, you usually are still setting up at 6:30, but people come poking around anyway (If you have advertised the sale)
