A 6:30 AM start to a yard sale on a Friday? Texas really is different.
Seriously. I mean, I guess if you're going to have a yard sale on a week day, you want to catch the before-work shoppers?? IDEK.
So I did make the shuttle, and was as usual the first one here. That's not entirely fair, since my boss is often here, but who can tell, since she keeps her door shut.
6:30 am Thursday or Friday is usually when the early bird come, here in Upstate. If you are having a garage sale, you usually are still setting up at 6:30, but people come poking around anyway (If you have advertised the sale)
Those people are freaks. If I have a yard sale, it won't get underway until 9, at the earliest.

Gronkies. I had planned on working from home today, but it appears that I left my power cord in the office. Snarl.
Dinner last night went well. The girlfriend was nice and we did hit it off. She even teased that her, Kelly, and I should go out sometime. Hopefully I had a decent impression.
Skipping and poking head in the midst of shabbat preparations because, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is Paul's - PMM's DH - birthday.
Happy birthday, Paul! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!
Also, since I don't how much - if any - computer access I'll have tomorrow, between shabbat and the whole drowning-in-grading fun, I'll post already that Saturday, the 17th, will be juliana's birthday, and send her already lots of early wishes!
Short Fridays and lovely weekends all around!

I dunno, it would take a lot to top the
baby Jesus
butt plug discussed in Warren Ellis' Crooked Little Vein (that supposedly really exists).
And by top, I most assuradely do not mean...

100 years from now, I predict this will be the correct spelling.
The two hardest things about parenting are being consistent with discipline and not correcting their spelling at this point in the reading process.
