Oh, msbelle. I can't even imagine. What a terrible, draining way to end the weekend/start the week. All the ~ma you need, in any form you need, to get you through the day today.

yikes. Scary roommate stories. I wonder if roommate angst is worse now because many kids have never shared a room until they get to college?
I am going through 2 pitchers of iced tea a week at the moment.
That's all, msbelle? that's like 2 days for me but I have become nothing but a walking iced=tea processor.
Also, sorry about the raging. I am sending you whatever vibes I have to hope your day gets better.
I have had 5 hours of sleep and feel like shit. Yay? But this is my week of delayed maternity leave with Grace.

My two Freshman year suitemates both had left the dorms by like October. One moved in with her her new boyfriend from BC, the best friend of her boyfriend from home. SCANDAL! The other was kicked out for drug dealing. OTHER SCANDAL! I got the room to myself for the rest of the year.
When the sophomore year apartment-mate got kicked out, we were excited about not having to share rooms -- the deal was four people in a three-bedroom apartment -- so were really not that friendly when the new girl showed up. Luckily, we did more or less become friends with her...
My freshman year roommate decided about halfway through the first quarter that her soulmate roomie was next door and that we should swap. At the time it was a PITA but turned out to be a great move since New!Roomie and I became really good friends.
My freshman roommate was homophobic asshole who threw things at me and once threatened me with a bow and arrow. A few years later I turned the experience into an article in a college paper on how homophobia affects straight people as well.
Never had a roommate in college. Was very thankful for it, too. It was bad enough without having to deal with Other People In My Space.
The only roommate (as opposed to suitemate) I had in college ended up being the only roommate (and, apart from a summer, apartment mate) I had after college. We're still in touch intermittently. As a matter of fact, I should drop him an email.
Despite technically I had a roommate all through college, for two and a half years I didn't really. One year my roommate died and I had the room to myself the rest of the year (One, you don't get all As if your roommate dies. Two, I had nothing to do with it, it was that fucktard cancer who done it), the other two years my roommate essentially lived with his girlfriend.
I have not talked to my freshman roommate since freshman year, besides one or two prank phone calls the following year.
