Lee just sent me SO MUCH '70s music. Cleaning clearly goes perfectly with "Rock the Boat" and "Seasons in the Sun" as well.

90 degrees in May is insanity. INSANITY.
Better or worse than 45 and pouring rain? Cause that's what it was here in Seattle yesterday. Which is a different kind of May insanity. Seriously.
Am packed and ready to head to the airport, but dropped off friends at the train station, and then was planning to go to the bookstore for books to read on my flight, but couldn't find a parking space near food, and then realized my flight was almost an hour later than I thought, so gave up and came home to make food, cause I remembered I had library books, too.
Feel bad, because I spaced on a conference call for my nonprofit board, and was going to be on the plane--and was going to call and say I wouldn't be on...and got a call from the board president wanting to bitch that three other people had called to cancel so we wouldnt' have quorum. And he'd left vacation early to come home for the call. Way for me to feel like a shit. Damn.
The sun is shining and it's raining. I love it when that happens!
barometric pressure affect mood/physical wellbeing? I'm starting to think yes.
I would say definitely yes for me, but it also affects my pain level which definitely affects my mood.
What sj said. Sinuses, joints, soft tissue, yadda. owich makes a not-happy me.

It was bright sunshiny earlier, and then we had a blowing mist from a rainfall upwind of us. All the air was full of rainbows! It didn't last, of course, but it was wondrous while it did.

Yep. I feel like crap and it started Friday night when the weather was changing.
Chilly rainy day here. It's been a good day -- lots of away from here time, which included farmer's market, trader joe's, coffee bean and then yoga. Came home and made a quinoa salad (red quinoa, sweet italian sausage, garlic, ginger, balsamic vinegar, cucumbers, flat parsley) which I'm still tinkering with.
Toddlers are sleeping and I need to rearrange furniture and clean before tomorrow's nurse arrives.
Oh, lord, yes, weather and mood and pain--my shoulder has become a very reliable predictor of weather change.
I'm making a cherry cheesecake pie which uses up a can of sweetened condensed milk, a can of cherry pie filling, a pack of cream cheese, and a good portion of the remaing lemon juice and the vanilla.
I also finished off a jar of almonds today and another bunch of tea bags. I am going through 2 pitchers of iced tea a week at the moment.
I need to get some rice on and also make some salad for tomorrow's lunch.
Oh and making a cheesecake is on my 101 list, so I get to mark that off. Whee!
I continue to be impressed by the contents of msbelle's pantry. I never manage to have that much usable food in the house at one time.
ION, YAWN. We took D swimming at the Y (early 3rd birthday present from my mom - pool membership!) and even though it was only 45 minutes we are all zonked. 6pm isn't too early for bedtime, right?
