Kids and I are watching the All-Star softball game too, Amy. Love all the players representing the A's.

Kelly babysat the dojo baby all afternoon/evening. He turns two in a month! And his mom is pregnant again. I'm looking forward to another baby to snuggle (and give back).

Talking about ages, I've been feeling every one of my 42 years lately. Geeeeesh.

I did a cake experiment tonight. I baked two layers of yellow cake (from a box mix) and whipped up a vanilla custard. Put the custard in the hollow space on the cake, popped on the second layer and frosted it all with chocolate buttercream icing. Sort of a Boston cream cake.

The results are nummy.
