hip deep in pie

Puppy pics are all too cute.

Darby has a sweet face, Brenda.

A cat would take a couple whacks at a crab and then ignore it. Dog would have lots of fun. I wonder if crabs are like a kong for dogs. My neighborcat could totally benefit from a feline kong...

Yay foe doggie kisses, Brenda! And glad houseguestage didn't freak Darbs out or setback.

I was doing ok with the plan being today last travel day. But now it's another week at least plus all the extra shit and I'm just not doing ok.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I watched twenty minutes of some really boring documentary about otters last night because the guy narrating was Scottish.

Otters are never boring! But, hey, a Scottish accent does make them even better. I think I've watched that documentary.

And, um, others that dude narrates. For the voice.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh dear, meara. I hope you can get through it.

Aw, puppers!

Because books.

Darby is so sweet, brenda. The face!

meara, that sounds awful. I'm so sorry. Many hot baths in the hotel rooms maybe?

And, um, others that dude narrates. For the voice.

I should have just kept it on as lovely, lovely background noise and gone back to reading.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Ugh, meara. I hope you do get through it. Work is kicking my ass, but I feel grateful because I know how much worse it could be.

The rule is, round to the even number. Sorry 35-year olds.

30 is still round. I just always round up. I'm rounding up to 45 right now, AIFG.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Here's a happier story for everyone. This morning my bus driver slammed on the brakes in the middle of the highway. When I looked out the window to see what was going on, a mother duck and her ducklings were crossing the highway and all the traffic had stopped until they crossed.

I saw a mother duck and her duckling cross the sidewalk in front of me while running in the park today. But also I saw this guy running with a golden retriever on a leash; no big deal. But then 30 seconds later I saw a fat old unleashed golden retriever racing after them! I LMAO.

Dude. I'm not rounding up to 35.

Because books.

I don't round either way. No rounding! For me.

Via Cakewrecks. Spidey doesn't look too comfortable, I have to say. Although Supes seems to like it ...
