Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

What music goes with cleaning out the closet

Eminem?

Farmers market was not thrilling. I was looking for local honey and nothing called to me.

BB&B yeilded some new kitchen towels and bed sheets. Woot.

I didn't make it to Target. By this time my face was hurting and I don't dare take the good pain meds when I'm out and about as they tend to put me to sleep.

Instead, I'm home, nibbling on tapioca, watching Doctor Who and making lists of what I need to do before Wednesday evening when I fly out to California.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Today: headache, clogged sinuses, lazy, approaching thunderstorm. Does barometric pressure affect mood/physical wellbeing? I'm starting to think yes.

Trust my rage

craigslist manners - someone asked me about something last night, offering to get it then. I told him we were going to bed but he could come by today. THis morning, I emailed him telling him we would be home after 11. I haven't heard anything back from him. Just now, someone else asked me if it is still available. I think I'm probably free to sell to person #2, right, even though it seems a tiny bit rude?

Because books.

I went with the original soundtrack to Fame. I now feel like an undiscovered star with too many bags and shoes.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I would say definitely yes for me, but it also affects my pain level which definitely affects my mood.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I would say yes. Particularly as it affects sinuses. I always feel like my cranium is a giant barometer.

I did buy the El Vetica t-shirt, and I wore it last night. About 2 people got it and laughed their asses off (one guy offered me money for the shirt; I told him there is such a thing as internet commerce, where he could exchange money for his very own t-shirt), and a couple others asked me about it but when I explained, they gave me the Okay-Crazy-Lady look.

Who doesn't find typography jokes funny?!? I mean, really!

Now we're headed out to a jazz concert and I need to wear something nicer than the El Vetica t-shirt. This is unfair.

Cleaning music is the soundtrack to Sweet Charity.

Also, it's allegedly going to be 90 today. This is also unfair. However, the concert is in an air-conditioned hall, so that tips the balance back toward fairness.

90 degrees in May is insanity. INSANITY.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You know how posting makes things happen? I didn't even hit post this time! I was about to make a post about how the catsitter was late, when she showed up. So that's good.
