I really didn't feel like doing much over the weekend, so I just sat around and watched old Dr. Who episodes. I just checked my iTunes - between Friday and Sunday nights, I watched 18 episodes of Dr. Who.
very cool!
I've set up my work station to be on my bed now. feel so much better. Also had some bacon and that helped. mac is being a trooper and eating food from the fridge......which brings me to FOOD REPORT:
finished off milk; used the last egg; tossed half cans of green chile, black olivers, and water chesnuts; finished TJs naan; drank the last of the iced tea; and used more but did not finish bacon, malt-o-meal, flour, brown sugar, bread, american cheese, and fries.
I think we can knock a few more things off with an afternoon snack and then dinner.
We watched four episodes of Deadwood last night. I have to watch my vocabulary today.
I watched nine episodes of Criminal Minds yesterday. Way too many serial killers.
The last few nights I've had weird dreams... I wonder why....
but so much FBI hotness.
Speaking of tv watching, I tried to watch Murder on the Orient Express with David Suchet last night but kept falling asleep during it--have to try again when it's not 1:00 am. What I saw really impressed me. I'm a big fan of the Sidney Lumet-directed 1973 film, with Albert Finney as Poirot and the host of big-name stars as the rest of the cast, and couldn't imagine how they'd top the lusciousness of that production. Turns out, they went with lots of big emotion instead, which worked. I zonked out during the big "Daisy Armstrong" reveal, so I still have about an hour to watch.
