I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

We watched four episodes of Deadwood last night. I have to watch my vocabulary today.

I watched nine episodes of Criminal Minds yesterday. Way too many serial killers.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The last few nights I've had weird dreams... I wonder why....

Speaking of tv watching, I tried to watch Murder on the Orient Express with David Suchet last night but kept falling asleep during it--have to try again when it's not 1:00 am. What I saw really impressed me. I'm a big fan of the Sidney Lumet-directed 1973 film, with Albert Finney as Poirot and the host of big-name stars as the rest of the cast, and couldn't imagine how they'd top the lusciousness of that production. Turns out, they went with lots of big emotion instead, which worked. I zonked out during the big "Daisy Armstrong" reveal, so I still have about an hour to watch.

I love msbelle's food report. I can't believe you are leaving so soon!

In other news, I just used the blender to make a blend that has sweet potatoes, coconut milk, juice and sardines. I plan on NOT being in the house the first time the nurse feeds this to her. But it's super high calorie, low volume which we need. I might thin it down with water.

Shemar Moore is soooo gorgeous! And it's funny, but Reid's geeky character keeps getting in the way of me seeing MGG's model looks underneath all that hair. I keep wondering why my eye is constantly drawn to Reid, when I realize that he's got fantastic bones under that character awkwardness.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I'm back from vacation! And (like I said in Bitches), I skipped all but the most recent 50 posts, because there is no way I can catch up. (The interpipes did not reach our beach house, apparently, so we had no internet at the house. It was like the dark ages.)

So, let me just ask this:

Hey tommyrot, I am skippy girl and was wondering how your injury recovery is going.

The hell?!? What happened????

Also, did anything else monumental happen while I was off fighting pirates and sharks?
