Ah ha ha Robin. That's like the time the shuttle was landing and the sonic boom rattled the house. Franny told DH that the house was shaking and he told her it was probably just a raccoon on the roof. "That was NOT a raccoon, dad!" she is reported to have said.
Kat, we recently determined that we need to treat Isaac's reflux, so he's been on medication. We also went with a compounding pharmacy, but Isaac found it really unpalatable. DH found this site. They have a lot of info on treating reflux in kids. Not sure if it helps in your situation, but maybe worth a look.

Went over to check on other neighbor's cat. She also doesn't do ac. So sweaty. Cat, sweet until I gave her food and then I didn't matter. Nice place, but I like mine better!

burrell, yeah. I've read some of that site before. What's most interesting is that they neglect to tell you that PPIs won't actually stop gastric reflux, which differs from acid reflux. Gastric reflux is caused either by volume issues resulting from slow gastric emptying or by reactions to foods.
PPIs will help calm some of the acid from causing issues if you have a lot of vomitting.
But for many kids (at least kids like Grace) the trick is to eat less more often.
