Mal: How come you didn't turn on me, Jayne? Jayne: Money wasn't good enough. Mal: What happens when it is? Jayne: Well... that'll be an interesting day.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Great. Now I'm going to ship Delinda.

Compassionately intolerant

Suzi, get thee to a peroxide soaked qtip! Swab your ears a couple of times a day. And, if you have one, use a neti pot/bottle to clear out your sinuses.

The germs incubate in your mucous membranes. Swab them out and you have a less likely chance of coming down with the virus and a greater chance of suffering less if you do get it.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

ita just had to go there.

I am on a Groupon hiatus too, and yet I bought both the Chicago and the Milwaukee ones today. I am not very good at hiatusing.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

...and now I have Priceline remorse. I should have gone cheaper! And the place I got is on the wrong end of the neighborhood. Eh. No big whoop, really.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

They have a brownout at our other Chicago office, two weeks after they had to turn off the water for a few hours. I'm glad we're not having the same issues here, but feel bad for my coworkers who are working out of that office today. Oh, well, they can both work from home if they have to.

- Has anyone ever brought a Samsonite suitcase back for repair? I have no idea if it's under warranty, but the store is convenient, so it seems worth a shot

I have. I had to pay $15 or so for shipping, but it came back good as new.

OK, that sounds well worth it to me, given that the Samsonite store is more convenient than the luggage repair places I googled up.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I have been keeping all of our lights off due to brownout/blackout fears. I will not turn off the A/C though.

Punishingly Intricate
